It all started when...
Nahal Dominicé was born in Tehran, Iran. At the age of one, she moved to Geneva, Switzerland where she grew up and studied Communication. She later moved to London where she completed a master's degree in Marketing and developed her passion for painting. Although art was not central to her studies, she always had a sense of creativity and imagination, and a desire to challenge herself artistically. Starting with landscape and figurative painting in her early work, she went on to find her true passion in abstract. Painting is a way for her to express herself and attain a sort of freedom. Her works are oil on canvas and often use a mixture of bright colors and relaxing techniques which represent her personality. The contradiction and experimentation, reflected in her work, are part of her style which comes to life through unexpected surfaces, textures and emotions.
